Is there an optimal resolution recommendation?

For example, the recommended resolution for an SD 1.5 is 512x number, and for an SDXL it's 1024 x number.
From my multiples tests, as long as you dont go beyond 2048px it's fine.

how much VRAM do you have? with 24GB it seems I max out at 1024x1024 resolution.
edit: I realise it depends if one uses a quantized version of the weights or not, so I guess the answer is complex then.
